The club are disappointed to annouce that after much deliberation, 1st XI opening bowler Christopher Dixon will be leaving the club to join his home town club South Wingfield CC in the Derbyshire League.

Dicko has been struggling to find a happy balance between his work during weekends, travel from his home in Chesterfield to South Yorkshire League matches alongside his the commitments that he has with his young family.

The club are gutted to be losing his services, but are absolutely supportive of his decision and would like to wish him all of the very best for the future.

Dicko said “I would just like to say thanks. You have all been amazing and the last two and half years at Rock have been the most I have enjoyed my cricket”.

There was never a dull moment with Dicko. We will sincerely miss his services both on and off the field. He is winner, through and through and brings a lot to a dressing room.

All the best Dicko, and in the words of the wise….. UTR!
